Fat Loss

Options
Hi Folks

I have a gizmo which calculates my fat %. Doing it after i weigh-in each week allows me to calculate (maybe not 100% accurately), the amount of my weight loss which has came from Fat Loss.

Example last week i weighed 100kg with 27.8% body fat. This week i weighed 99.1 kg with 27.4 % body fat. Allow me to work out 71% of the fat i had lost had come from fat.

All i wanted to know is, do people know a good ratio of fat to weight loss?

I just started a strengh training program to help facilitate more fat loss.

Ummm -well I don't think there's a single answer to that question. I think it depends on how overweight the person is etc etc and what his/her lean body mass is in relation to what it should be. Someone who is very overweight can "afford" to lose more lean body mass (in order to lose more weight) than someone who is near his goal weight. Someone who is near his goal weight needs to lose almost entirely fat.
