Increasing weight while weight lifting?

I usually keep a pretty consistent schedule of going to the gym in the morning and slowly increased the weight of my workouts. I seem to be plateauing recently however, and my school work is starting to kick in so that is getting in the way of my gym schedule. Anyone have tips on increasing the weight of a weight lifting routine?
