Hi everyone
Ok so right now I have a viral due to a seizure I had on Monday and all week I have done nothing but eat EVERYTHING in sight up until Wednesday / Early Thursday morning and still feeling :indifferent: but I yesterday I started to eat alittle and today I thought I would exercise alittle too - I still feel  but had to do something as I know this week my weight would just pile on!

Exercise regeime as follows -

Boxing punch bag = 63 cals for 10 minutes
Dvd of the biggest loser = 183cals strength and toning only!
Running Forest Gump style  30 minutes exactly

NOW THIS I cannot get my head around -

I got my trainers on and left my house and simply started running. And running. And running. AND RUNNING! I almost felt like Mrs Forest Gump  HOWEVER There is NO WAY I ran 4.05 miles in 30 minutes???!!!! My legs / calves / body quiet frankly ache like it`s never done in my life and I AM aiming to lose my muffin top and a inch on both legs but surely if this doesn`t work daily I will :explode: !!

APPARENTLY I ran 6518 - Metres! Which APPARENTLY is 4.05 miles??

It's amazing what the body is capable of, when its properly rested and fueled. hint hint... mmm cough excersize calories...
  • It's perfectly possible. I used to run a 7 minute mile in my skinny days, or 3 miles in about 24 minutes in cross country. So 4 miles in only 30 mins is great! that's very fast. WTG!!
  • why not? my favoured pace was 7:30 mile pace for a couple of hours (16 miles) and I was an overweight 40 odd year old.

Now I'm 52 & don't think the knees would stand it.
  • Hi :-)
I run on average 6 miles for 45 minutes but that extra 15 minutes less seems bizzare at 4 miles :-s
    ( I am so hopeless at maths !! )
