My son (8) is a cub scout who is working on a cooking achievement. One of the requirements he chose was to bake oatmeal cookies. I am really proud of him for picking which projects he works on, working hard, and doing all the planning, measuring, mixing, and cleaning on his own. (especially the cleaning. Awesome kid! )
The problem is I now have 4 dozen freakin' cookies in my house, and zero will power on the weekends when my husband is out of town.
Free cookies! Who wants 'em?

Freeze them!! I have done that. I love to bake and I do monster baking this time of the year. I have a type 1 diabetic son and I can't have those things laying around. Well, they do disappear but it isn't always a good thing. Good luck!! I got those food saver bags with the machine so that helps.0
