Having to have someone towed...

To the ones who reported me because of my signature, how is it now? Does it break any rules? As for the others who have a problem with what I've done in the past, will I'll just say this. The only One I have to answer to is God. And Avalonis, essentially what my profile quotes says is I'm a sinner saved by Grace and I'm not perfect.
I didn't report you, but it does break a rule. The MFP rule states no religious signatures.0 -

I reported you. You broke a rule, rules are rules. Sorry, that's the way it goes. I'm sorry to say though, this post, again breaks forum rules...

And no, I wouldn't feel upset about being towed if it was for a legit reason. Do it! You paid for the spot, you need and use the spot!0

Yes it did break a rule and I had to pay the consequence for it. That's fair. But while some people seem to be upset with me for reporting someone who parked in my spot at my apartment complex causing them to get towed, nobody seems to be upset with whoever reported me for having a religious quote in my signature causing me to have to change it. :huh:0 -
LOL Wowzah, good times up in here.
Turned out I almost had my neighbours cousin towed because she forgot to let me know she was going to park him there (we're cool like that but we live in the same hallway and figured it wasn't her as I knocked on her door and thought it couldn't be her or her company because they were absent) but I called the tow company just in time to cancel it. Oi. I would have really been upset that time, sometimes it's good to wait to tow someone I guess hey.

There is a difference between the two...one involved you deleting a bible verse from your signature, the other cost a person money (a fair bit) and probably made them late for work...0 -

But in both cases a rule was being broken. Some rules have harsher consequences when broken than others but hey life is hard. And as I've previously stated, I've left notes on the vehicle before reporting it. I've never reported any vehicle as soon as I've left the note. I've always waited at least a couple hours or usually longer before reporting to give the owner time to see the note and move the car. I would expect to get towed too if I had a car and parked in an unauthorized spot.0 -
This is a perfect example of why I will not live in an apartment or in a condo/townhouse/whatever type situation.
I'll park in my own garage and my own driveway, thanks.0 -
I don't have this problem @ my new complex...but @ my old apt complex there were like 2 visitor spots and all the rest was assigned parking. My downstairs neighbors were total d-bags & had their friends park in my spot all the time for hours on end; which forced me to park on the street. Why on the street...because my other surrounding neighbors were too lazy to park in their spots & took the visitors' spots. I never had them towed but one time they were out there when I pulled up & I sat there for a couple of minutes blocking in their cars...they moved & I didn't have the problem as often. Why not have them towed you ask? Because that apt complex, in their infinite wisdom, did not tow people...they booted them! So you'd STILL be deprived of your parking space AND have a pissed off neighbor.
Hey- I think I use to live there.0
