It could be water retention. Is your TOM soon? Have you eaten things that processed, they are usually high sodium.
Drink your 8 glasses of water everyday. And keep working out and eating all of your calories, exercise calories too.0 -
Are you overestimating how many calories you are burning while using the bike? That could be it.0
-
It could be that you're under-logging what you actually consume. I tend to do that when I go out for dinner, and don't know how many calories I've actually injested. Or maybe your settings are set too high? You may have selected moderately active when your settings should read sedentiary. Or it could also be that you are gaining muscle mass, which is actually not a negative thing. Overtime, your body will actually burn more calories because of the increase in muscle weight.
Don't get discouraged. It's only been 2 weeks, so hang in there!0 -
Hmmm... pregnant?0

I agree with all of these. Make sure you are getting your 8 glasses of water. I would also try to weigh in on a tanita scale that tells you fat mass as well. You could be gaining muscle but losing fat.
Also... how often are you weighing? If you weigh yourself more often than once a week... you will likely fluctuate from day to day. Try to only weigh in the mornings before you eat... once a week. I do my weighing on monday mornings. Good luck... hang in there... it takes time!0 -
Water weight, possibly. Be patient, you just started.0

THANKS FOR ALL OF THE HELP! OTHER PEOPLE HAVE TOLD ME THAT IT COULD BE MUSCLE BUT I DONT THINK I WORK OUT ENOUGH TO GAIN THAT MUCH MUSCLE WEIGHT! IT WOULD BE GOOD IF IT WERE SO!
I DONT DRINK MUCH WATER AT ALL. ACTUALLY I DONT DRINK MUCH LIQUIDS AT ALL.
THE PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT I WEIGH MYSELF EVERYDAY! I GUESS I SHOULD NOT DO THAT?
I GUESS ITS VERY POSSIBLE THAT I AM EATING MORE CALORIES THAN I REALIZE.
I DONT KNOW I WILL JUST KEEP TRYING I GUESS. THIS IS A NEW SITE FOR ME SO MAYBE THAT WILL HELP.0 -
Drink your WATER, at least 8 glasses a day. It will keep you hydrated and your system working properly...0
-
If you just started and were under eating you might gain a pound or two when you start eating enough...don't worry you'll drop it, your body has to come out of starvation mode first.0
-
Are you eatting your exercise calories? If you are burning off a lot, you might be dipping into starvation mode.
In general, I would try not to worry too much.

I think you are within the healthy guidelines for your height/weight... maybe your calorie guidelines are too low - so your body is in "starvation" mode??0

hello !
if you dont drink enough water, your body will do the opposite and hold on to as much water as possible.. so,, drink as much as possible wait a couple days to let your body time to readjust then weight again
i would not think that your gaining weight has anything to do with muscle, its very hard for a women to gain muscle in the first place,, takes week of hardcore training and eating the right things and mixing up the right body hormones to gain muscle weight, and its almost virtualy impossible to do that while on a calorie restriction ..
that said... you have to be honest with yourself and make sure you log your calories correctly, you have to make sure you eat your exercise calories as well. dont over estimate your exercise calories,
at your weight and the amount that you need to lose , its going to be harder then someone with 70 lbs to lose, so youll have to be more patient as well as aiming for a lower amount of weight lost per week
that said, you sure shouldnt be gaining wait while on a calorie restriction diet, so if you keep not losing or gaining, i would say go see you family doctor and talk to him about it, there could be all kinds of health reason as of why your not losing..
good luck0 -
