Thank you! I'm always self conscious about my lack of waist, I have a 4 inch difference between waist and hips too. Horray for the rectangles :p

    But I'm not 5'3 *tear*
  • I am also shaped like a rectangle :-(

Hourglass SUCKS for buying pants, in my experience. If they fit my butt, there's like a 5" gap at the waist. Belts dig into my muffin top. lol I know the grass is always greener, right...but I think I might like to be rectangle.

SO VERY TRUE. Always a gap!!! Thank goodness some designers are getting wise to this and making stuff with normal-sized waists but big badonks.

What you want is something between an hourglass and a rectangle. Me too. Pants that fit my natural waist without cutting off the blood flow to my lower body fit like grandma pants everywhere else. OK, so I have reached that age, but the same was true when I was in my teens and 20s. And mid rise pants weren't at all stylish or easy to find in those days.
