Who On MFP Does NOT Exercise?

I just thought I would see how many of us do NOT do any exercise.

I used to love to walk but, because of a problem with my feet, I don't......It's ok when walking but it hits me later when my feet can become painful...I have some calcification on top of both feet... the cause of this is the bone structure of my feet.......

I do sometimes walk downtown, but that all depends on the weather.,My feet do play up but not too bad....

I'm a taxi driver but I don't just sit on my *kitten*.....I deal with wheelchairs customers so I do do some incidental exercise..Plus, I do need to get out and walk to the loo when the occasion arises....:happy:

  • I've only really started exercising in the last couple of months, and that's only really twice a week of "intentional" exercise. I go walking. I ahve just bought some JM DVDs which I intend to doa couple fo tiems a week, but we shall see. I keep it to what I knwo I'll be able to maintain, so walking a couple of times a week is doable

    I really don't exercise yet and I've lost 60 lbs. But with 40+ to go and USAF enlistment looming within the year, it's time I start. I want boot camp to be a breeze!

    I've started doing 90-second calf raises* everyday and ride my bike when I feel like some kind of workout but that's few and far between, so far! Also, I log anything out of the norm. Like, today I vacuumed a bunch of cat hair out of an RV for an hour (don't ask). :laugh: I logged 45 minutes of it (http://www.braydenwm.com/calburn.htm).

    *For anyone who's curious: Feet, shoulder-width apart like | | and go up on your toes and back down 25x. Then toes pointing out like \ / and do another 25 reps. Finish with toes inward like / \ and a final 25 reps. EVERYDAY. :D

    I do this sometimes when I'm working..If I've been driving for a while and feel a bit stiff, I get out of my taxi and do this..But I just don't count how many reps I do......
