Common misconceptions based on your appearance

Way too many people assume I'm Italian. When I was a teenager working at Coles little old italian ladies used to come up to me and just start spewing out questions in italian.
and they always used to look at me like I was lying when I explained I was irish/lebanese....and that I only look like the Irish side of my family. XD 0 -
People often think I'm younger or older than I really am, depeding on the situation. I'm 23.
At work, people think I'm a freshman in college (I work in the library)
With my kids, they think I'm at least 26 or 27 (my oldest daughter is 6. I don't usually tell people she isn't biologically mine)
People think I'm a city girl. Nope.. I was raised on a dairy farm.
Sometimes people just assume I'm a party girl. Not true, either.0 -
That I am either still a teenager or in my 20's!! rofl!
Also when I visit a site, construction workers/superintendents look at me like I'm some ditzy chick who got lost and sometimes are rude to me only to find out that I am the Architect. Gawd Damn RIGHT!!!0 -
I like to trick people by looking like I'm not super awesome.0

anyway, um...when i have long sleeves on people have no idea i'm as tatted as i am, they usually don't believe i skateboard, or still play pokemon, they get surprised at my musical tastes, and anime fetish. 0 -

The biggest misconception about me is that I'm some kinda bad-*kitten* jerk. I've had a lotta people tell me after meeting me that they were intimidated by me at first, and I'm anything but an intimidating kinda guy. I think it's because of my cool haircut.
Example: Before I started shaving my head, if a guy bumped into me in a bar, he'd look back, then keep walking. Since I started shaving, guys would bump into me, look back, stop and say, "Sorry, man...you okay?" Like I was gonna hurt them, or something. 0 -

People never believe that I am over 50 and I'm 53. I got mistaken for Bruce Willis and Billy Joel a couple of times and that I am very scary due to my Police nature but I am a really nice guy. I would give you the shirt off my back!0

1.) I'm a sweet, old-fashioned, innocent, Christian girl - I'm a sarcastic, good-hearted, freaky, modern, atheist renegade.
2.) I'm a teenager - I'm 24.
3.) I want to join the Air Force - I know I look prissy sometimes but people are surprised to find out how down and dirty I like to get.
4.) I don't know sh!* (people speak to me condescendingly and second guess me all the time) - I'm quite erudite, graduated with honors, speak three languages, and will probably go to law school and get my master's at the same time.
None of this offends me that much; I like to keep people guessing and keep to myself.0 -

People tend to think I love sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll...and really who doesn't? but it doesn't mean I'm not highly educated, mother of a 9 year old and have a very respectable job. I can't even tell you the last time i went to a concert, and I've never done a chemical drug lol0
