I notice that I am going to the bathroom more during the day. But I have finished my eight glasses of water by 6pm. Are you drinking water up til you go to bed?
  • I have been told that it is necessary to drink 8 glasses in order for the kidneys to flush out the wastes in the body that are the result of diet and exercise. I also find that I have to go more that I did but the weight is coming off. I have a natural tendency to retain fluid so it was scary to dring 8 glasses. Now I find no swelling in my ankles at the end of the day, something is working.

this is normal, if you are not so used to doing the longer workouts then it will take your body a while to adjust to the new workout=water intake ratio. if you are enjoying working out longer, then persever with drinking no less than 8 glasses even if it means getting up to pee, your body will soon get used to it. :drinker:

8 to 10 times a night is not normal. It it continues I would see a doctor. I drink until I go to bed, I even have a cup of tea right before I go to bed and never get up during the night. I would think 1 or 2 times would be okay, but anything more than that I would talk to a doctor about it.
