Hi all!
I heard about this community from a friend of mine who just lost 10 lbs using the tools here. I thought I would give it a try! My unltimate goal is to lose 30lbs. When I stop to think about it, it seems pretty simple compared to what some people are struggling with, but not always as easy as I think it should be.
I started my day off to a horrible start. I had 4 homemade chocolate chip cookies for breakfast! I only have 38 calories left for the rest of my day. I won't be sticking to my calorie goal for today, but I will make some better choices as the day pregresses. I tend to give in to temptations pretty easily and find it hard to ignore those nasty cravings.
I am also terribly unmotivated to get up and move my body. I am a nursing student so unless it is a clinical day, I am stuck to a chair or the couch doing homework. I really need to find a way to motivate myself!
Thanks for listening to a newbie rant! Hope you are all having success and I hope to join you soon!

I know it's hard in the beginning, but don't give up!!! Don't kick yourself too hard for not eating perfectly. It will take time for your body to adjust to new foods and for old cravings to go away. Try to get in a walk today. I also hate working out, but after I read a few success stories on here it always motivates me to get moving0
