It's Detroit Restaurant Week this week, and the boys have decided we're going to one of the restaurants before the Red Wings game today. I'm looking for suggestions on what I should get.
Here's the menu: http://detroitrestaurantweek.com/Mosaic.html
I don't eat seafood, so the scallops and salmon are out. I also know you can't order anything special or different with these, because it is Restaurant Week and the menu is served as is.
What do you recommend I order??

Maybe ask for smaller portions, but you should enjoy your day and don't eat until it hurts!!! Just have fun!0

I'd do
Fennel & Arugula Salad
Stuffed Portabella
Chocolate Tart
and probably not eat all of it. I am vegetarian though. So I may be biased on my choices lol0 -
How often do you go to this restaurant? If you go all the time and it's no big deal then be a little more strict with what and how much you eat. If this is a memory you're creating with your family that only comes once a season, then enjoy the first two courses (I'd go with the fennel arugula salad and steak). Order the third course of your choice and give it to your boys after enjoying one or two bites.0

Thanks for your suggestions, everyone.
This is the first time I've ever been there. Everything on the menu sounds so good, I figured I'd see what people recommended, since I can't decide.
I'm just glad my husband and BIL (the boys) thought it would be fun to do something like this. I'm glad, because I've been following both the local Restaurant Weeks (Detroit and Ann Arbor) but we've never managed to make it. Now we decide to go, and I'm trying to lose weight and watch what I eat. Figures.0
