So, what's your plan? How do you plan to lose your weight? I have tried so many diets over the years and nothing has really worked except doing it the old fashioned way...cutting back on portion sizes, eating more fruits and vegetables, lean meats, more water and exercise. Any one else try anything that has worked for them?

The good old fashioned way. I tried to lose weight last summer, but I wasn't motivated enough, then I stepped on the scale a month ago and realized that i had gained back the 15 pounds that I had lost. & I've just decided enough is enough and i'm going to lose the weight and thats it. I've got motivational websites, pictures everywhere. etc. lol
& i'm allowing myself treats; before I wouldnt eat out or eat at family functions and then i'd just obsess about food the whole time so i'm allowing myself a little of stuff that i know that I want so I prevent binging and falling off the wagon again later.
so thats my plan; diet, exercise, motivation, and treats every now and then to keep myself on the diet plan instead of secretly cheating on it!0 -
I have a lot of friends that have done the Dukan Diet to great success. These were women who started out in the upper 200's - 300's are are following the plan and losing weight. It is a super easy plan to follow, and there is no calorie counting. As long as you follow the guidelines, you will lose.
The plan is something like this....
First - go to the Dukan website and enter your stats....it will compute your True Weight based on bone size, etc, and it will tell you how long it will take you to get there.
Then - it will tell you how long to stay in the Attack phase which is from 1 - 10 days - which is a diet of Pure Protein (PP) This is when you take off a lot of water weight. Then, you will move into the Cruise phase, where you alternate Pure Protein days with Protein/Vegetable Days, and you continue on the Cruise phase until you reach your goal weight/true weight. There is a very good plan to follow after you reach you True Weight, where you slowly reintroduce foods back into your diet.
Let me know if you want me to connect you with some of these fabulous ladies....they are all age ranges - 25 - 65.0
