VENT: Rude!!

So, several months ago in the YouTube & beauty community, one of the greatest makeup artists had passed away due to personal complications. A few of us made a tribute video about how we met her, what we will miss about her & what not. I've known her from a few makeup sites & youtube for a couple of years & posted a video.

A couple days ago, I got a RUDE comment on the video saying:
"OMG this is a ridiculous video U didnt even really know her! "

In my video, I never claimed to know her off-line, but we did get to know each other as friends online. Is it just me, or was that rude? I had so much respect for the wonderful friend that I had lost, and I still do. IDK..

    Meh, YouTube is riddled with comments like that and troll behaviour.

    The Youtube comment section is nothing but nonsensical rants, racist and rude comments and spamming, that's why I've never joined. I have no desire to throw sand with children in the sand box just b/c I wanted to see a video. I think the entire comment section on Youtube should be removed.

    Don't take it personally, it was just another spaz making a comment.

    I've dealt with trolls before, but to post that on a tribute video of someone well respected in the community? It just made me super upset.

    seriously ignore it hun...I don't even read youtube comments anymore because some people are just nasty for the sake of it and to try and inflate their own egos, you did a nice thing with good intentions, you have the right to miss her too

    You had a right to be upset and understandable, some d-bag had to make a comment on something you worked on, like the others said, just ignore it and remember you did it for that person, yourself, and friends, not for some anonymous douche on the net.

    If you want only positive and good comments, DON'T POST ANYTHING ON THE INTERNET. Trolls responds 10 or 20 times more than actual humans.
    I wouldn't respond in any way, delete the comment if it bothers you - I think you can block people - what do you care what some loser says on You Tube?
