I never seem to get enough iron, this week I ate around 5% of what I should have eaten.
What do you eat (apart from red meat) to gain iron in your diet?

A lot of the diary entries on here don't include iron content (for instance, most veg don't list iron - even when they have iron in them!)

Soy, seeds, pulses and most whole grains contain iron. There's a reasonable list here:

    Hi,

I take a multi vit & mineral tablet daily, this does go someway to helping.

    Good luck

I was wondering about that, as I have been getting between 0-15% iron (usually 0% though), even though I'm eating spinach, pulses, etc. I'm the same with calcium, even though I have soya yoghurts and rice milk which have added calcium. Is it just that the iron and calcium info hasnt been added for all the entries?

I also use multivitamins on days I don't get enough. They have cheerios that have 100% iron and only 110 calories per a cup. I sometimes replace baked chips I have with sandwiches with a cup or half a cup of these. They are called multi grain cheerios, and they are yummmmmmy
