I noticed something in the store today that confused me: canned sweetcorn has the exact same nutrional content (in terms of calories, etc.) asthe same kind of corn with salt and sugar added. How does that make sense? Shouldn't the can WITH the salt and sugar be higher in calories and, well, sugar and sodium than the one without?

The store was Stater Bros btw, and the cans were store brand.
