taking time off?

So recently, I've had a lot of stuff going on in my life-school, exams, jobs, graduation, etc. I've been fighting with my boyfriend about stuff, because I can't seem to ever focus enough to really let myself have fun with him and whatever. My sister has been giving me a hard time about a lot of stuff. I've sort of lost touch with my family because I'm so busy. My period is late this month, which is throwing me off. I'm still obsessing and always thinking about what I'm eating. But lately, I've got so much going on I've been going into emotional eating and just getting angry at how much I'm sick of not being able to eat whatever and always feeling bad about eating stuff and planning out my meals way in advance and feeling thrown off if I don't stick to it. I'm just feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. I only have a few lbs to go. I'm not entirely unhappy with the way things are now and the way I look. I want to tone up so I look better at this weight, because I haven't done much of that. I don't want to give up, as I'm afraid that I'll never get back into it if I let myself go. I feel like my lifestyle has changed and I just want to be healthy, but I'm afraid tht will happen if I stop. But I feel like I need just like a week off from trying to lose, because in reality I haven't lost much recently, or at least it doesn't feel like it/look like it/seem like it. I'm conflicted. I don't know what to do. I don't want to gain anything back, as that would really bother me probably more than powering through it would. Sorry for the sporadic nature of this post, I'm just kind of spilling out thoughts. I appreciate any advice anyone can give me. Thanks so much, you all rock.

Take a week off! Don't go completely overboard of course, but I know what you're feeling!0

I've been having a few stressful weeks as well and decided I needed a break. I just have not been able to put my energy into exercising. I am still watching what I eat, but have not worked out in over 2 weeks. I have lost a few lbs actually, which I am guessing is muscle. I'm okay with that. I have set my goal to start back with exercising next week, knowing this is only a short break, not the end of my journey. So take some time off if you need to, but set a day when you will start again, and stick with that.0

If I were you... I'd take a week off. Still be mindful of what you're putting into your mouth, but relax about it.
If logging is important to you, up your calories to maintenance for the week. It will give you a little wiggle room and will let you keep a little bit of control so that you don't put on (or don't put on too much anyway)0 -
Agree with above. Take a break from "logging". Still pay attention to what you're eating...make good decisions, just don't WORRY about it. I had to do that recently because of some issues I've been having (pulled tooth and sinus perf...I hate dentists). I decided not to log my foods for two weeks and concentrate on healing myself instead. I'm now back to logging but with my calories closer to maintenance. Good luck.0
