Hey, MyFitnessPal Community!

I'm Amber - 22 years old, from NYC. Current weight, 165. Goal weight 130!

I've been on MFP for a little over a week now... Transitioning from another calorie-counting site, and this one's the clear winner!

What brings me here to the Intro board is that I'd love a couple of fitness/health buddies. What I've been lacking (and what has caused a heartwrenching regain of 20 pounds) is the lack of support I've received from those around me... It's been an uphill climb on the homefront, and while I welcome a challenge, everyone needs a word or two of encouragement now and then.

Looking forward to saying hello to you all!

Here's to health!
Amber

  • Welcome Amber and clearly this is the best site I have found. Try to not stress about the gain but refocus and get back on track. You will find a ton of support here.

    Hey Amber!

I'm 24 years old and regained 20 lbs as well. I had lost almost 50 lbs and then with the summer and holidays and lack of motivation I've regained 20. I feel so disappointed and defeated. A lot of the time I just want to say screw it. I'm in much need of some support and motivation! We can lose it again and feel great about ourselves :)

    Let's get focused!
