% of body fat

I went online and did measurements to see where I'm at for body fat. When I put in my height and weight, it comes back at 29%. When I put in my measurements it comes back as 27%. Does anyone else get this? I hope I can lean towards the latter as the number to trust!

It does vary quite a lot, both in the tool you use and in how various bodies interpret it. I go with an average, which should be OK for you as your results aren't wildly different0

There are 3 ways to check body fat and the only one that is even close to 100% accurate is called hydrostatic weighing which invovles you getting into water in a chair that is attached to a scale. Most people use a skinfold measurement that looks like a pincher on a bug. The way to do that is measure 3 times and take the average. I would do the same with what you find online. If one says 28% and one says 29% it is probably somewhere around that. Measuring it any way except in person should be taken with a grain of salt.
Good Luck0
