30 day shred.. started 8/23

I started the shred on Friday. I was sore Friday and Saturday but today is Monday and my legs feel like they are on fire. I can barely walk upstairs and sit down. I like the burn but I don't like not having "enough" in me to go to the gym. I have taking lots of pain meds and it helps for a little bit but still a little sore? Any suggestions on how to get "rid" of the burn?

    The first 5 days of 30DS are the most difficult. I encourage people to keep pushing through for the first week. I would say you are doing pretty great to be doing 30DS but also going to the gym for other workouts as well. The soreness will eventually subside but it does make it painful going up/down stairs and so forth. You could tone it down a bit by just doing 30DS and forgo the gym for this first week to give your body more time to rest between exercise. Best of Luck!

    I'm on Level 2 now but the I was pretty sore the first 5 days of 30DS also. I didn't feel sore after day 6 though. Stick with it - the soreness is almost over!!

    Thanks y'all for the advice. I will push through. I can't wait to start level 2. I am ready to see Jillian sweat.. at least a little bit. I will also go to the gym 3 day instead of 7.
