How many Calories

Do you guys Make up your own Calorie Goals, Or do you go by what they say on here? They say I should be 1200 a day, but That seems a little low for 193 lbs. But I wasnt sure.

It depend on what you have your weight loss goals set at. Try setting it to 1 lb per week and you'll get more calories.
Also if you are exercising make sure to eat back most (if not all) your exercise calories.0 -
i made mine a reasonable 1/2 pound per week....i get like 1350 calories0

It's good to consult a variety of calculators & tools, and do some trial and error to really dial in your true numbers. But the numbers here are a good starting point.0

i am at 208 lbs, its so hard to stay at calorie goals. I always have anyplace between 500 and 700 calories left over!0

WOW! That does seem low - but maybe that's for "extreme weightloss?". I go by what's on here but I remember being allowed to eat aprox 1500-1600 calories when I was at that weight. I am currently at 173 and I am allowed to eat 1360 calories. Maybe you need to take a look at your settings perhaps you need to tweek something. Good luck....0

I set my calories at 1/2 per week. It'll be slow going, but I like to eat and I don't want to restrict myself too much on calories.0 -

I started a week and a half ago at 180 lbs, and it gave me 1200 calories as well. I've been trying hard to make better food choices so I feel full and won't go over, and it's been working so far. Also, I've been earning about 200 calories a day from exercise so that helps as well.0
