Good for you taking the step to join MFP! I have been on here since Jan., and have found it to be extremely motivational! Once you feel comfortable on the site, check out the various challenges that go on - they can really keep your motivation up! Good luck on your journey - feel free to add me if you want.

Congratulations on doing something for yourself! Best of luck in your journey. Dive into mfp and all the tools that are available!
  • Hi...and Welcome...I've been on here about 3 weeks, and it has become my new obsession...(even over Face book) the tools are great and the people are awesome....The one thing I have learned so far, is Water...Water, Water.:grumble: ....but it does work, it helps with the hunger, and keeps your body flushed out. So good luck with your own journey :flowerforyou:

I haven't been on the site for too long, but I'm already having success! I have found it helpful to take things slow. I didn't change my habits very much to start - I just logged in each day and tracked honestly. Then I chose a small thing to change at a time - drink more warer, start walking, eat more veggies, etc. I also find it motivating to make my diary visible to friends...keeps me accountable.

    Good luck!
