There is a difference!

I've been here for about 3 months, and I've lost 16.5 kg (36 lbs). I felt like nothing was changing, and I was wasting my time because a lot of people say that at 10kg you should see a difference. After reading some stories from here about always taking progress pictures is important, I decided take some happy snaps to see if I could see a difference, and I was pretty shocked when I compared them to my start photos. My butt/belly has actually started to shrink, and I have a collar bone! I don't think I've ever had a collar bone! haha
Reading all the wonderful success stories and motivational quips from this site has pushed me to get where I am now. I still got a long way to go, but I've learnt heaps from being here and I'm excited to keep going with this journey.
So that's my latest success, what's yours?

What they say about pictures is true! I found a picture of myself from July 2010. and decided to take some progress pics the other day. I was surprised and shocked at the difference. I never saw myself as being that big before I saw me-then compared to me-now.
here is the link to my blog post if you care to see them;

I decided on 12/2/2010 that I would not maintain my weight another day. I have lost 54 pounds and it truly does show. Started at 212 and this morning I weighed 158.
My yearly physical is coming up and I am excited to see what my physician has to say about the weight loss. She never once mentioned my weight being a problem (but then I have never had a doctor address my weight) and it will be fun to see if she notices and what she has to say.
IMost mornings I walk two hours and with MFP feel so much better. Went from a size 22 to size 10/12. Thrift stores were my friend during this journey.
