Wierd Question about spray tans ?

Not sure where i should have posted this but i have a wierd question about spray tans

I have never had one because ive been always to worried about my weight and i havent asked any of my friends because i guess its kind of embarrassing as a 25 year old woman that i dont know this stuff

anyway my biggest concern is id have to strip down to my under wear infront of all the beauty staff and stand there and get sprayed lol is this true or is it more private like i basically what to know how does getting a spray tan work whats involved ?

id like one now just to feel a lil more confident before some up coming parties etc but if i have to show people my belly and basically hole body then no way ,,,, if thats the case id rather wait until im at my goal weight

hey hey.... i love getting spray tans and get them often as they make me feel GREAT!. Usually what happens is you get down to your underwear or paper gstring (provided) i usually just stick to my own underwear and one beautician sprays you. I do it topless, but you can wear a strapless bra if you would feel more comfy.
From personal experience it is just the one person who sees you and they are very professional and see tons of different bodies on a daliy basis......it is in a spray tanning booth which is very private not for the whole salon to see. having also given a lot of girls tans from having my own spray tan business on the side whilst at uni - as a tanner you do so many girls of all different sizes and shapes that you dont even think about the bodies you tan so they def dont judge bodies etc
You should def do it ... tans make you look and feel great

there are also booths that can spay tan you, just phone a few tanning salons to see what they have:}

I've gotten a spray tan in a booth with no attendant. I was 264lbs at the time so yeah, extremely self conscious about my body.

The staff member just made sure I understood where to put the lotion (palms of my hands, lightly on elbows and knees), that I understood how to do the poses (really funny!), and that I needed to pat down after with the towel and kind of blend the spray stuff in certain areas like hair lines, under my breasts (no weird under-boob tan line if you make sure to get some up under there), and double checked that I got all my hair under the cap (I asked her to before I stripped).

Then they leave you alone to change (I prefer naked for no tan lines). You get in the booth and push the button. The machine sprays you while you do the poses to be covered and then you pat off and get dressed.

I will have a ring around and see if i can find a place with a booth , I live in a smallish town and really dont want one of the workers there to be some one i went to school with or a wife of my husbands work friends etc as that tends to happen allot everyone is always in some way connected to someone you know around here and it get quite *****y at times

I had a spray tan right before my wedding because I didn't want to fake-n-bake in the tanning bed. I was completely naked with just the one person who was spraying the color on me. At first I was a little freaked out, but she was totally professional and it was cool. I giggled while she was spraying me because it kind of tickled at times, lol.

At any rate, I absolutely loved it and definitely recommend it. Also, the spray tan makes muscles look more defined and makes you look thinner. That's always a plus in my opinion!
