Hey there

I have this diet from a nutritionist, and I did it for a whole 10 days. I was supposed to do it for 20 and email her so that she changes it. I went and saw her when she gave me the diet and since she lives back home, email is the only way she can help me now.

How can I make things more fun? agenda? stickers? blog? please help me.

Diets are no fun and never will be so stop calling them that.

Call it a healthy life change everything you do to make yourself healthier will make you happier and live longer.

Personally, i eat whatever i like but in a small portion. Whenever i log anything i eat and its over my calorie limit, i make sure i burn the extra calories by exercising. That's the way i make it fun for me because i can still eat what i like and exercise it off to reach my daily limit. For cardio, i do zumba or just dance because its fun to me. I also add strength training which isnt fun to me but i want to reach my goals so i suck it up and do it

Having an idea of what your diet/lifestyle change is will make it easier to suggest ways to you to make it more interesting.

hmmmm. you can eat while jumping on the bed. that would make it fun.
  • To keep me interested, and make it more "fun" for me (my ideas of fun are odd haha) I mostly do two things:

    1) I have rewards. When I reach a certain point, like needing new jeans, or hitting a mini-goal in my weight, I plan out a reward. That way, I'm more motivated to actually get it done! For example, I bought myself a size 10 jeans the other day, and when I reach 160lbs, I'm getting a new tattoo.
    2) I make a competition out of it. Try and see if you have any friends, either here on MFP or in real life, who'd be willing to do a Biggest Loser type thing with you! I do mini, 4-month competitions where we pay $20 into a pot, and set rules, like every time we go over our calories by 200, and for EVERY 200, we pay into a "cheat pot", and at the end, whoever's lost the most fat % gets all the money! Having other people to do it with makes it much more fun than just doing it by yourself, plus you might win money!

That's my two cents anyways. You could make yourself a chart or something, like from kindergarten, and have rewards for each sticker you earn, or put money into a jar for each pound you lose and use it to buy yourself something pretty!

Challenge yourself as a cook - find healthy recipes that fit within your diet, and try to recreate them to look just like the photo.
