If that's true then Beach Body must make and manufacture their own shakes..........but they don't. It's made by a 3rd party just like the majority of most supplements who get their raw bulk material from China where there isn't really any regulation, so chances are there isn't and pure product in there and more than likely has fillers.

Shakeology is manufactured in a facility that is registered with the FDA, adheres to current Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and is GMP-Certified by the NSF (National Science Foundation) and the NPA (Natural Products Association). This from the ad staff of Beach Body. And GMP means ingredients originate from China.

Natural doesn't mean "better" or "performs better".

Is foodfacts the AUTHORITY on every protein product and supplement on the market? If not, this rating doesn't mean much.

cyanocobalamin is the simplest form of B12 and is generally found in eggs and some dairy products, but is also found in some meat and animal organs. Plants, not so much.

methylsulfonylmethane can be found in garlic, onions, and some other vegetables.

Pretty sure that qualifies as natural.

Not saying Shakeology is better than any other product, just that it isn't horrible for you either. I like the taste, and the simplicity it adds to my meal planning - so I take it. I don't sell it, or otherwise endorse it. Plus, I've had a reaction to some other protein shakes. I seem fine with Shakeology.

I think it's more a matter of preference

I think people forget that most extracted vitamins and minerals are called by their long chemical name. It doesn't mean they were created in a lab...but on the other hand, it doesn't guarantee they weren't. You have to look at the ingredient list, recommendations and in the end judge for yourself.

Cyanocobalamin is the most commonly supplemented form of vitamin B12, but you might be surprised to discover that this form of vitamin B12 does not actually occur in plants or animal tissues. In other words, outside of the chemically synthesized cyanocobalamin that you encounter as B12 in most vitamin supplements, you would be extremely hard pressed to find this compound in nature (in fact you would not be able to find it).

I agree with those stating it's toooo expensive. If you got $120 to blow on a shake..more power to ya..I think they're a little too proud of their stuff. I make my own protein shakes at home for WAY cheaper.

If you know how ingredients are processed into things like shakes, they aren't "naturally" pulled out so how can they be natural? Why not just throw in meat and garlic in their whole form to get the ingredients?
And can you verify that the raw materials have no fillers? This is why anything deemed "natural" gets certified by an association that can verify it, which shakeology doesn't have on their product packs.
