Really curious if anyone ever heard a loud POP while rubbing their incisions?? Ive looked this up online and i know swishing and other noises are normal but i have silicone gel implants and while i was rubbing my incision (only 3 weeks post op so trying to help along the scar tissue build up from sutures) something popped and im pretty worried so any info you have would be helpful. THANKS.

I don't have fake ones but I do hope that pop was normal. Bumping for other fake ones.

for any surgery - call the drs office and talk to one of the nurses - if it's normal for post-op, they will know. if it's not, they will know.

yes, im sure i will be doing that at some point. was just trying to get a feel if it was something normal that others have experienced or not. like an air pocket or something explainable.

Oh, goodness, no, there should be no air pockets. I'm a nurse. Call the doctor.

^^ that. Why wait and check this board first. Something in your body made a strange noise and it probably shouldnt. Call your doctor. Now, not later.

Call to be safe. My incisions are in my underarm and I have Saline so I never experienced that.

i called the PS's office and everything is normal. the pop I heard was scar tissue on my incision breaking apart....not the implant itself.

Hmmm, I have silicone as well and I never had any popping noises while doing my post op massages. I would call your doctor just to be safe.

*edit* just saw you called! lol. Yay for good news!
