Depends on the person. Some people lose weight and their skin tightens up. Other people need surgery to get their loose skin cut away.0

Do you work out??0

I read that a person who has a lot of stretch marks with have loose skin after weight loss due to the skin stretching dramatically. One way to tighten that skin is to drop the bodys fat percentage to being on the lower end and building muscle mass.
I was wondering if anyone has experience doing this?0 -
yes about 1 to 1.5 hrs three times a week, but this is more of a general Q?0

No. Your skin should tighten itself up over time. The younger you are the more quickly it's likely to happen, but lowering your fat % (you meant body fat %, I'm guessing) won't make it happen any faster.0

I read that too. I don't have any experience with it, but I suspect there is some truth to it (along with tons of toning and great moisturizer and lots of water). Whether it will remove all loose skin, I don't know, seems unlikley in some cases. I'm sure it would improve all cases.0

I am not asking for advice, I am simply searching for people who have tried lowing their body fat % and increasing their muscle mass after weight loss of 100 lbs or more.0

it seems that many people take things a bit person and are quite judgmental on these posts, please don't do that and just share your personal experience if you have any personal experience with this. TY0

Age is a huge factor in this. Also, it depends on how much the skin is stretched in the first place. I've still got a ways to go, but here is what I've seen so far: the skin on my stomach, butt, and thighs has tightened as I've lost weight, that on my arms and bust has not.
You mentioned stretch marks. The stretch marks on the first three body parts above are old and mostly relate to when I went through puberty many years ago, and they have each gotten bigger since, but no new marks. The marks on my arms and a portion of those on my bust are more recent and related directly to my getting obese. I'm adding in exercises now that should help build muscle in those areas, but I'll admit that I'm concerned that I might have saggy arms, and I'm only 27! Not an exciting prospect.0 -
right on, ty0
