Calories vs. Quality

I don't think it so much the calorie as the type of food you are eating. If you go with lowfat, you are getting other sweetner and artificial stuff. I guess the best thing is to eat as much whole food as possible.

I think the calories will get you to a number, but the quality will help you lose the flab as well as help you maintain once you get where you want to be.0

If you want to be healthier, and lose weight, its calories in<calories out.
If you want to be 100% healthy, then where you get those calories from counts too.0 -
YOU ARE CORRECT !
Pick NATURAL foods in their 'whole' and 'real' or raw state whenever possible.
Foods that are manufactured contain LOTS of ingredients and chemicals we
have NO BUSINESS consuming as people, and yet, science invents them, and
the products are sold like its not a big deal.
Little Debbie Zebra Cakes have like 60+ ingredients in them.
SCARY!
And artificially sweetened things and things that are 'low fat' trade off
for higher sodium or sugar or another downfall of the product.
Better to eat veggies, fruits, whole grains and lean meats.
The LESS you add to it, the better. Its hard to switch tastes but its worth it!0 -
Something to think about.- Are you taking out trash or garbage? That will tell you a lot about how you are eating. (trash=packaging, garbage=peelings, etc)0
