Tired of yo-o-ing with my weight

I am a stay at home mom of 2 beautiful children. My story is as old as time. After the first baby the pounds just flew off, after the second one - not so much. I lost a lot of weight right after the little lady was born, but then got into a yo-yo pattern with my weight and seem to be gradually gaining, and gaining, and gaining. Counting calories and keeping a food journal has helped me numerous times in the past, so I am hoping it does the trick again. I can't really diet since I am still nursing, but I do need to keep an eye on those empty calories that sneak their way into my food plan.
