Yes you will, but I have no idea how many.0

You should burn more with the incline because it's like going up a hill more or less. I'm not sure how many more calories though. Try 20 minutes without the incline and then 20 with and see what the difference is.0

Yes you will burn more, also work your legs, glutes and core more which in essence causes the bigger burn but for how much more it all depends on the person..for me I tend to burn about 200 cals more in the same amount of time according to my HRM.0

Changeisgood55........LOL!!!!! I dont know why I didnt think of that!!Silly me!!Thanks!!!! will do that !!!!0

The increase in the amount of calories you're actually going to burn would be a little hard to calculate because not everyone is the same. I would think that physics is physics, though. Someone feel free to correct me, but I think it would take more work to walk up an incline, therefore you will burn more calories as the incline increases and the speed remains the same.0

Presumably your treadmill will show you a total of your calories burned during and/or after your workout.
10% incline is HUGE. You probably want to start with 3%. Even that gives a nice bump to your calorie burn during your time on the treadmill.
I love my treadmill!
Best wishes.0 -
It's a big difference in the calorie burn....Even doing hill intervals like 10% for 1 min, then flat for 30 then repeat with different inclines and rest burns alot more.0

good question. I walk treadmill 3 days a week with a setting of 6 and random hills so it adjusts the incline up and down during my workout. at a setting of 6 it averages a 3% incline. I walk at a 3.0 mph pace and burn 460 calories in an hour on average with these settings.
Yesterday, I though I'd push it and increased to a setting of 7 which avaraged a 4% incline, same pace 3.0. I burned 555 calories yesterday in my 60 minute walk.
So in a nutshell, yes, more incline=more resistance= more calories.0 -
you'll definitely burn more calories... this link will help you calculate the extra benefits

If you're walking at the same pace at 10% as flat, then you will burn more on the incline. If you up your pace for 0%, you can burn the same as with the incline.0
