Newbie!!!

Hello everyone!

I'm new to My Fitness Pal and so far I am loving it. I have been using the program (both on my desk top & the mobile app) for a little over a week now and it has been a great help in getting me started on my weight lose & fitness goals. I had never realized how much the calories add up!!

I am a University student from Prince Edward Island, Canada and I will be graduating in May 2012 and have packed on the freshman 15 several times over. I would really love to get back into a healthy lifestyle and lose my excess pounds by then. My overall goal is to lose approximately 50lbs by September 2012.
I would love to hear any pointers/tips/advice from others who are in a similar situatution as myself!
