I am dead set on not going over by 1 calorie (since I'm known to binge and give up) I went over by 44 calories after dinner (we ate after we worked out) because I had to choose something different and didn't know the calorie count :grumble:

What's a simple exercise you can do at home that is a good calorie burner and easy on the knees?

Yes, boxing is a great cardio activity and you can do it without hurting your knees. Take an upright "squat" position with toes pointed to the corners and sitting in a bend that challenges your quads then punch forward alternating arms while really keeping your core engaged. Do that for 60 second intervals with 20 to 30 seconds of rest for a total of 5 to 10 minutes and you'll probably cover those 44 cals.

I understand what you mean. When I started out I was MILITANT about staying within my cals!!
