Okay, I'm not sure if this is a good thing or not. I am totally addicted to this site! I have to pry myself away some times so I can work out or clean house or make dinner! I know this site is suppose to encourage us to work out but it's so hard to when so many great things are being posted and you want to read them all!

No worries mechanicmom
I was the same way for the first month. You will get into a routine and begin to pull away. I know I needed to be on the site a lot initially because like any person who is addicted to something (food). I needed constant support for my detox, This site gave it to me. Thanks MFP.0 -
I can totally relate. I just joined this site, and I really enjoy it! I find it very helpful.0

Well when you are keeping track of everything. IE your food which you enter in about 6 times a day. Then your workouts, then when you start a blog or add to one from someone else and you want to keep track of it. YEP it IS addicting!

Put down the mouse and pick up them weights or jump rope or something. Everything is good in moderation. Moderation is the key to life. Bye all have a great weekend.0

Hi all,
It is my 4th week since I started tracking my food again. The first 3 weeks I just took it slow. This week I am really keeping to the amount per day and I have found I am on the site often looking for information and support.
It does feel addicting, but that is a good thing because it is where our focus is and what we focus on expands and grows. This is the key to achieving any goal.

Feel the same way. I used to play solitaire, now I read posts. I'm also addicted to reading health sites/books. Right now it's the Omnivore's Dilemma.0

lol I know ho wyou feel, my best friend and I work together and our desks are preety much within touching distance and we both have the site up all day long and even message each other back and forth throughout the day even though I could whisper and she could hear me. But its great though because it keeps our minds off all those temptations in the breakroom!!0
