New fan of Leslie Sansone!

I just finished her 5 mile Fat Burning Walk and burned 400 calories. I completely underestimated her workout and thought it would be a snore fest. I'm so glad that I was proven wrong. It was very enjoyable and the hour went by so quickly. With my mp3 player it heightened the experience to a whole new level. It might be too soon for me to say this but I can see this workout becoming a favorite. Why? Because I won't dread doing it everyday.

Anyone else a Leslie fan? What are your thoughts about her videos?

    You only burned 400 calories.
    I use a heart rate monitor and When I do a 3 mile walk. I burn over 500,.
    I love her videos but I hate how she brags that she's a mother of 3
  • I have a lot of her videos and have been a fan for 8 years when my oldest son was born! I like the 5 mile walk too and usually do that when I can't get to the gym or walk/run outside. It's definitely a great workout!
  • I love Leslie!!! When I started my fitness journey I saw her videos on Comcast On Demand. I thought "Great I don't even have to go buy anything!" I felt the same way you did about it at first but the first day I was beat after one mile. She definitely makes it fun and you do not realize how quickly time goes by!!!! :happy:
  • I ABSOLUTELY love her! I thought the same thing when I started her workouts back in January, but it is a GREAT burn and you definitely sweat! Her and Chris Freytag ROCK!!!

    I love Leslie Sansone dvds when ever I can go walking on the track or do my Zumba fitness for Wii I do the Leslie Sansone Dvd and u just can't go wrong with any of her dvds and I like u say U will never get bored of them and she make it so much fun too

    I did Walk and Tone last night and was surprised about what a workout it was...I was sweating by the time it was over! I like how the moves were so simple, I remembered them and did the walk while watching a movie tonight. I will try more.

    Isn't she great!? I started w/ her programs when I first got back into trying to better myself. She is very motivational. I still do some of her stuff a few times a week.

    I haven't tried her 5mile, only the ones that are available on my cable's on-demand. I like her walk & tone and cardio slimdown, 20 min is perfect right before work.

    One of my favorite quotes from her: "You're so important to so many people, you must take care of yourself!" I think about that every day :)

    LOVE HER!!! And love that I can boost the intensity on the workouts I've gotten used to when I need to :)

    Love Leslie!!! When I first started getting serious about weight loss, I was so out of shape that I could barely do more than walk in place. I needed something really simple, yet effective. Now I'm running!

    i love Leslie! I don't dread her workouts at all and I feel great when I'm done. I just saw on the news today too that walking 3 -5 hours a week reduces insulin and estrogen levels in women which can help lower the risk of getting breast cancer. insane right?! all the more reason to keep at it! I just ordered 3 more of her dvd's online and can't wait to get them!
