Perhaps a great way to get some new food shopping ideas. I definitely enjoy creating new recipes everyday with random items I find in my kitchen.

What are the top healthy items on your shopping list?

Greek Yogart (Fage 0%)
Chicken (99%)
Ground Turkey (99%)
Almonds (salt free)
Avocados, Apples, Bananas, Black Berrys
Broccoli, Baby Carrots, Mixed Greens, Tomatoes
White Potatoes, Wheat Pasta, Oat Meal (sugar free)
Whey Protein
Peanut Butter (salt free)
Flax Seeds (with a coffee grinder)
Coconut & Olive Oil

    Great list! I'm surprised you put white potatoes instead of sweet potatoes though :)

    Zuchinni (you can do a lot with those)
    Onions

    brown rice
    frozen broccoli

    lots of spices

    Great list! I guess you taylor to likes but because I don't cook but usually 2-3 times per week I don't want to waste veggies so I buy a lot of frozen veggies (no sauce or butter just plain veggies): green beans, peas, corn, broccoli.zucchini and/or yellow squash spinach, collard greens etc
    Sometimes depending on time of year I get frozen fruit like peaches, blueberries and cherries.

    I love fresh lemons, limes and apples gotta have every time.

    Olive oil becasue I make my own vinaigrette. Onions and of course GARLIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I like to get a whole grain cereal every once in a while but in winter time I like oatmeal, millet, and or quinoa.

    I depending on mood buy canned beans all of them or dry. Canned tomatoes,beets and olives.
    My basic list give or take a two!

    Thanks to all of you. My menus are getting stale. Things like this help me find other alternatives. Everything on my normal list has been posted so now I have some good ideas.

    I had no idea sweet potatoes were so much higher in nutrients than white. Off to the grocery store!
