muscle milk?

Hi all,

So, I have quite a busy schedule on Mondays, and I don't have time for lunch (booo!). I'm trying to find a good healthy alternative for a snack-lunch that will fill me up and keep me going for ~2 hours until my next snack break. I thought of muscle milk, but it seems to have too many chemicals and I'm not so sure about it... have you tried it? What do you think about it?

Any other ideas for a filling snack? I'm aiming for ~300 calories

    I have never tried Muscle Milk, but I do drink Rockin' Refuel Chocolate Milk after every run or bike ride. It's 300 calories & tastes sooooooo good. And I am not a milk drinker. I love this one!

    Cookies N Cream Muscle Milk = Yum! I used to have it in the mornings after my workouts (as a bit of a reward for working out the day before). Now that I'm trying to avoid dairy/casein, I'm no longer drinking it.

    A snack option might be a serving of dried fruits and nuts. It's easy to buy in bulk, mix what you like and toss it all in a container or bag before leaving in the morning. Almonds, cashews, raisins, banana chips and cranberries is a mixture I like.

    I'm ok with protein shakes as a concept, but I found muscle milk disgusting. Odwalla makes a strawberry protein monster that I liked.
