I was at the gym tonight and my sessions with my personal trainer run out today, which I'm feeling very comfortable with. So I'm going up to do my 15 minutes of HIIT before lifting with him and run into a girl I know. We get on the cardio machines beside each other and are talking about our workouts. I told her that as of Thursday I need a lifting partner, and asked if she'd be interested, but my rule is that she must lift heavy. She hesitated, looked me over really hard and said "I was about to say I don't want to lift heavy because I don't want to get bulky, but there's nothing bulky about you. Yeah, we'll start next Tuesday."

Then on my way to the weight room I ran into a guy I haven't seen in a while and he said "Woah, look at you. Man before you looked good, now you look fit!"

Yay fitness!!!

most excellent! i read NROL last week and am inspired to challenge myself too.... i'll be your cyber "lift heavy" partner.... there's a barbell on craigs i've been eyeballing to add to my regime.

keep up the awesome work girl!
  • Feels Awesome, doesn't it? Compliments from people who see you here and there are the best motivators to lose the weight and keep it off.

Have you tried this yet? I just bought it the other day and am working my way through reading it. I've already upped my calorie intake (which is diffcult to get my head round) but I'm really really looking forward to the workouts
