My closest calls that come to mind, would not be appropriate in this forum.

Any and all deadlines, I am a huge procrastinator and speeding always. I have a lot of tickets on my record but I’ve had probably triple the pull over’s or close calls. LOL

I've had that happen too and also times when the text did go through. Pretty funny.
  • - Driving past a cop going 50mph in a 35mph zone. He didn't even pull out of his spot. I think he was sleeping! lol....
    - Almost dropping a resident I was lifting yesterday....that would have been bad

    Im sure there's more! lol

    >Taking long drive home from work.
    > Speeding a bit.
    > Drive past police car going other way.
    > "Shoot!", slows down.
    > He turns around.
    > "SHOOT!"
    > He turns on sirens.
    > Begins fabricating sob story in head.
    > Pulls over.
    > Police car screams by and pulls over car ahead of me.

I literally sat on the side of the road and nervous-laughed for like, six minutes.
  • I sent a long, loving text to my boyfriend one time and I looked at the message again and it said "Group Message" and I PANICKED, thinking it sent out to everyone on my contacts list. Come to find out, it just sent to him twice.

    Whew.

Just happened Sunday. I got in my car, started it, put it in reverse and then hesitated to plug in my phone to charge. Not two seconds later a big gust of wind and a tree comes down across the driveway where I would have been if I hadn't held up for the phone. *whew*

I have to agree...coming in a close second...the time I thought I was pregnant in hight school. The time I sent an email to someone and it went to someone else...last weekend when my MFP loves were sending me dirty pics and I almost reposted them ;)

nice, see I knew I could count on MFP people for those crazy stories, lol
  • Driving back to our place in NorCal where the roads r windy and fun and technically there's no posted speed limit. I was HALLING BALLS down the road, easy 65mph, and came around a corner where there happened to be a cycllist (ohhhh, how i hate those road hogs) AND a cop comin the other direction. I don't know who was more freaked out.... me, the cyclist, or the cop. Luckily, we all had good reflexes and i moved over, the cop moved over, and the cyclist stayed where he was. The cop DIDN'T turn around!!!

Drivin from Cali up to WA on I-5 in Oregon and playing "leap frog" wit a cute little Porsche. Unfortunately stater saw us weaving in and out of traffic and decided to end our game. Both i and the Porsche slow down and pull into the slow lane. Porsche got pulled over. Guess my Accord didn't warrant enough attn, lmfao.

it's because the cop figured the rich fool could afford it, both in his wallet and to his ego, lol
