Day 65 NSV! Am I What I Eat?

So, I've hit day number 65 since joining My Fitness Pal. 65 days of learning about myself and the food I refuel it with.

I just came back from a short lunchtime trip to the grocery stall and had a moment of reflection...
Have you ever looked at the items you bring to the check-out and think... "Damn! I wonder if I look like a freak?"

Here is the list and if I am what I eat... I think I've done pretty well!

* Brown Rice
* Broccoli
* Cauliflower
* Carrots
* Brussels Sprouts
* Zucchini
* 1/2 Butternut Pumpkin
* Asparagus
* Chickpeas
* Raspberries
* Blueberries
* Vegetable Stock No Salt
* Soya Sauce
* Turkey Breast
* Light Cheese Slices
* Chilli Jam
* Honey Oats
* Multigrain Bread
* Pink Salmon
* Ready-to-eat Asian Salad

So here is a challenge, if you've sneaked off to the corner stall to buy the weekly essentials, what is in your food basket?
Are you what you eat?
And are you happy with your choices?

    Light Cheese
    Extra Dark Chocolate.
    plain Greek Yogurt
    PC Blue menu Chicken
    Whole Grain Couscous
    Brown Rice
    Tilapia
    peaches
    are things I buy alot.
    I'm fairly happy with what I eat. Unless I'm having a horrible week then I crave Pizza Pops. Or pizza. But if I cave. I have thin crust spinach Pizza which is not to horrible with calories.
    I think if I was what i ate. I would be a giant Chocolate bar because I crave it daily. When I'm happy and when sad.

    They say not to go to the grocery store on an empty stomach. But, if I go when I'm not hungry, I end up with nothing in the basket, because nothing looks good. Then there are times that the old me would go and buy nothing but junk, and I really didn't want anyone to see what was in my cart!! Thanks to MFP I'm doing much better these days with what goes into the shopping cart!

    Absolutely! hahaha!

    Few years ago cart ~ lots of food in boxes & cans, chips, candy, soda ("middle of the store" food)
    Now cart ~ fresh or frozen veggies, fruits, whole grains, beans, lean meats ("edge of the store" food!)

    Big difference all around!
