I am new here and have started logging my exercise etc daily. Cam someone tell me why the strength training section doesn't show a calories burned? You must burn calories doing a strength workout so why isn't it logged against your calorie's used?

This is such a commonly asked question! I was confused when I first ran into it as well
You don't have a calories burned estimate due to the fact that nobody could possibly know how much you personally burn. There is no average because there are SOOO many variables that you can/cannot change or easily measure. You can enter that into it, to track it, but in the Cardio section there is also a strength training option to record some calories there Remember, its never for sure.0 -
You can add strength training under the cardio section to include calories burned. I've heard though not to be too reliant on what it says since it's hard to truly know how many cals you've burned doing strength training.0

It is SO estimated and different per person than any number it gives you will probably be wrong.0

This is where a HRM comes in handy...0
