cardio vs lifting

I just started on here, and when I want to put in the amount of exercise I do in a week, it only lets me put in the total amount of exercise. The thing is though that I do cardio and lift weights, but it doesn't show me how many calories I burned when I lift. Any suggestions?

On Cardio, search for Strength Training. It's kind of the catch-all.0

I was hoping there would be something easier, but that is what I ended up doing. I actually have it figured out a bit better now. Thanks0

Like Victor said, you can log it under cardio. MFP has state that it's to hard to estimate how many calories you burn lifting weights due to intensity, weight, etc. So they put it under cardio and state its a ver rough estimate.0

I only log cardio because I'm too lazy to figure out my calories burned with weights. I figure 400-500+ calories burned during my cardio is enough for me to work with when it comes to calories I can eat for the day.0
