I just joined today (I think?) and so far, so good. One day at a time, right? I've been making changes lately, including quitting smoking, but today is the first time I've used the tracker.
I've tried many different things in the past, but this time I've decided to just try the classic "eat less, exercise more" thing with a focus on being lower-carb, higher-protein and staying away from processed foods whenever I can. Also, I'm going to make an appointment with an endocrinologist, which I should have done some time ago, since I know the math doesn't really work out for me right now and chances are good there's some hormonal issues at work as well. I figure I need to make one more good-faith effort to get to a healthy weight the natural way before I consider surgery or something like that.
Would like to start seeing what the forum has to offer and what tips people have. I have a lot of weight to lose (over 100 lbs.) and would like to hear how you've done, especially if you've had trouble losing in the past. Thanks!
