You've got to know your body. Period.

If I'm run down from pushing myself too hard or too many crazy days, then I take the day off. If I've got a cold, I sweat it out. If I'm really sick, then I rest and let my body do it's thing.

That's what I do... but you've got to know what works for you and what your body needs. Sounds like you're run down, I'd take a rest day. But that means rest, not to simply not workout. Eat well, drink well and get to bed early so your body can recover. It should be called a recovery day, not a rest day.

I've been sick with this cold going around for over a week now. It's still in me, and in my chest, but I still do my workouts. I don't feel like it, but once I get going I actually feel better afterwards. I find the cardio really helps the sinuses. Give it a try, and if you feel better afterwards you know you're up for it. If not, just rest until you recover.

Oh, and to the OP -

Just as an FYI... I'm not the spelling/grammar police, but the occasional use of punctuation makes posts MUCH easier to read/understand.
