So, following on from my post yesterday about 30 Day Shred naivety, I have now ordered the DVD and can't "weight" for it to arrive!
Because I will want to get started on it straight away, I want to be prepared.
Can someone tell me what weights/equipment are involved so I know what I need to go out and buy, please?
Thanks in advance...

I have completed 30DS and let me tell ya...it will kick your butt!!!! You lose inches not much in pounds but its soo worth it! All I used was 3lb weights throught out the workouts...its whatever you feel most comfortable with. You dont want to do it with weights that are too heavy because it will just make it harder and you could get injured!!! Other than that...maybe a yoga mat and thats it!
Good luck!!!!0 -
I used 1kg wieghts through level 1 and have moved to 1.5kg in level 2, although I may have to move back down because my shoulders are killing me today!! But I guess that's the point?! Also get a mat if you have a hard floor because there's a lot of floor work (crunches/push ups)... I'm excited for you to start too!!0

I started on Monday and started with 2lb weight...but yesterday tried it with the 5lbs and was still ok...there is a bundle package on sale for the 30DS as well, its a mat and a set of 3lb weights for like 15buck...I saw this at a Wal-Mart...0

I used 3 lb. weights and it was hard for me but when I started I couldn't even do a push up. Make sure you measure before because you lose inches but I gained 2 lbs. and couldn't lose it for the first 6 days after I started. Good Luck!0

I switch between 3 lb, 5lb, and 8 lb, depending on what exercise we're doing. I've also lost inches and not pounds. It's crazy to watch your body transform in such a short period of time.0
