Hey guys
Just a real quick note to say:
Take your measurements when you start! I only started measuring my stomach and hips half way through and the results from them have shocked me. Now i am beating myself up about not measuring everything from the start - like my legs and arms!
If you start exercising more than you ever have before you came to MFP and the scales moving slowly, the measurements will keep you going!
Oh and also...welcome

Its best to realize that as you work out build muscle which in turn adds weight. For example I weigh less than my brother but he works out for hours a day and he looks much thinner than me.
If anyone is interested in starting a workout plan try looking into the Couch to 5k running plan. Its very good for beginners!0 -
I second that!0

Good idea ! I'll do it ! I've only lost 5 pounds so far...I should start measuring right away before I lose more! Thanks for the advice !0

guess I should jump on the "take your measurements" wagon seeing as I didn't when i started!
Great suggestion!0
