all over the seats...

Little boys...

I had to have a child to understand this.

That is all.

That made me laugh. That is also why I have to double check all the toilet seats in my house before sitting on them and why I sometimes have what I like to call "A subtle musk of urine" in my bathrooms...have to disinfect the floors weekly!

I always thought it was from ladies who choose to "hover" over the seat, rather than actually make contact.

    Thanks for the perspective

Or germaphobic women who squat and hover over the seat while they pee...honestly, we were not built to pee standing up. Use the seat cover and sit down. lol

I think I will get my revenge on my boys when I am an old lady by "accidently" missing the toilet

But they don't tend to hang out in the ladies loo.

  • It is partly the little boys, andthats why you never have an electrical outlet right above the toilet!
But it is more due to the ladies not sitting down on the seat (can't really blame you though).

I use my foot to lift the toilet seat, and then sit comfortably and clean on the bowl. It's always sparkling, in women's bathrooms at least...

Yes, but hopefully not in the ladies' bathrooms.

I don't care who peed on the seat. Just freakin clean it up when you are done for pete's sake. If it was your kid it is still your mess. Don't leave your nasty mess(or your kid's) for someone else to deal with.

I remember standing at a mall in line for a bathroom and my grandma turning to me and saying "you don't sit on the seat do you...never sit on the seat there are germs there." so isn't that how pee gets on seats in the ladies room? The non sitters?

I love when women complain about how messy guys are in the bathroom. I'll just leave this here:

Not really, my grandma was the same way but she had that ' Put a Barrier ' between you and the actually ' Germy Seat ' thing. She used the Paper thing they had in pairs plus a couple Toilet paper strips before she's sit down. So she wasn't on the seat but she was sitting.
There are some people who do the backwards thing too when they go to the Toilet around where I live too which is weird to me. I literally had a roommate in the hospital one time who refused to pee unless she could sit with her on the toilet lid!

I used to be too heavy to hover, so I got in the habit of lining the seat with toilet paper before I sat down. Now I still do it. It serves 2 purposes--gives me a clean place to sit & I also know that there's toilet paper in the stall before hand. When my kids were little, a used to carry around Clean Sleeves: http://www.amazon.com/Disposable-Plastic-Toilet-Clean-Sleeve/dp/B00LPTNC46. They moved around too much for the T.P. cover & the thought of them actually touching the seats made me want to vomit.

You must follow some tidy ladies, because the part of the bowl that I always see in the split part of the seat is always disgusting--worse than the seat itself.

    That's what I call a tidy bathroom.
