Hey everyone,

I sit behind a desk all day and I was wondering if anyone has used mini stepper or mini elipical? I am thinking of getting one because then I can keep moving my legs. Anyone have any good ideas for workouts to do at work? Thanks

Do you have stairs in your building? I try to take a few minutes every two hours or so to run the stairs in my building. It only keeps me away from my desk for about 8 minutes and really is a good bit of exercise.

I do mini-workouts while my lunch is in the microwave. Today I ran up and down the stairs a bunch of times; some days I do squats/lunges, or butt-kicks. It's amazing how even a little bit wakes me up for the afternoon.

There are 4 stairs to my building and a ramp. I also only get a 30min lunch. When it is nice outside I walk for about 20mins. Thanks for the ideas so far.
  • I sit behind a desk all day too. I've wondered about those bike peddals and wondered if they worked.

In my typical day, I am able to eat my lunch at my desk and then I use my 30 minute lunch and go for a walk. I am able to get 2 miles in during a 30 minute break...and I feel so great afterwards.
