I have a co-worker who is just miserably bad at his job. And it's honestly sad But he over sells, talks too much, and just generally over does everything.

I'm a manager (not of him) and I take care of insurance claims and what not in the office. When he fouls up (which is often) all I get for HOURS is "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry ohmigosh I'm so sorry!)

I get it. Say it once, let it go. Get a back bone. I'm not going to beat you, I'm going to fix your mistake.

i hate when people want me to make every decision without giving me any input. i don't mind making decisions, but at least tell me things you like/don't like if i ask that way you don't have a horrible time lol.
