it's really funny. my mom was raised in a mexican home, and spicey food were the norm while i was growing up. i've never really need about to handle "hot" foods, but i love a little spice in things.
which brings me to my problem...
i like to get stouffers chicken enchilada with rice and black beans. about 2 months ago, when i really started to lose, i LOVED these things. and i even had to add hot sauce to it.
but now? about 3/4s done and the spices get too much. i drink 3 bottles of water with it and my tongue is on fire!
anyone else have this problem? either with spicey foods or something else?

use some greek/plain yogurt as like sour cream. or drink a glass of milk. It will help cut the spice.0

You definitely get used to hot food!
I had a friend who used to not be able to eat spicey food, but now she can eat spicier food than I can! Just because she started having it more and more.
For a while I stopped eating as much hot food, and I had to work my way back up to the spicier food too. Tastebuds change!0
